I had a root canal and a crown done today, finished about 6 hours ago. First of all, I have really bad anxiety with dental work like this. I even get nervous before a cleaning. They gave me earbuds and ear plugs, and even a charger for my phone. They were great with the x-rays, and I went home with my completed and final crown today! That part is awesome. Also, I was prescribed pain medication but as the numbing is wearing off now, I feel fine. It was a painless experience! I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Russell, Ginger, Kim, Megan, and the whole team. I even changed my mind this morning before I got on the road and Ginger calmly and patiently talked me off the ledge of fear, lol. True though. The financing they offered was easy peasy too. Thank you!

Our dentist retired after 40 years and needed new start. Doctor Russell was a referral in which we were so excited to find. His staff of Kim at the front desk to Theresa who handled my cleaning were outstanding. Also had assistance from Ginger on insurance questions. This is definitely our new go to dentist.

New patient due to lack of consistency at my old dentist office. Upon arrival the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Office itself was clean and modern. Hygienist was thorough and I thought she did an outstanding job. Dr. Russell came in and did a thorough exam as well. I appreciated the way he explained things, pointing out a few items to watch, but not the type of Dr. to try and fix every little thing just to bill. Glad I made the switch!

Long story short I was going to a dentist in the vintage that every single time I went they found something that was wrong with my teeth. I decided to get a second opinion when they told me I had a cracked tooth and a cavity under a pretty recent crown. My father has been going to Dr Russell for many years. I was right, go with your gut. I did not have anything wrong with my teeth! Second cleaning this year last week with no issues. I am so glad I have found someone I can trust! Thank you Dr Russell and team!

I had pretty good experiences during my years as a patient of Russell Family Dentistry. HOWEVER, if they promise you anything verbally, be sure to get it from them in writing. I had invisible aligners from them and was told on several occasions if I ever needed a replacement I just needed to ask and they would make them - quick and easy to make and replace. Now, 2 years later, I asked for a replacement and was told it was going to be $400 to make a set. My bad for not getting it in writing, but their bad for promising and not standing behind their promise. **UPDATE** Dr. Russell’s office provided me the replacement set of retainers today at no charge, as previously promised. I appreciate their quick attention and customer service. If they were still in network for my dental coverage, I would still be a happy patient of theirs.

Dr. Russell is by far the best dentist for you and your entire Family in the State of Texas. I’ve been a patient of his for nearly 17 years, and despite moving to River Oaks, I still make the drive to see him. Not only has he taken excellent care of my teeth, but he also designed a stunning smile for me with veneers. Most importantly, he’s transformed what can be a dreaded dental experience into something pleasant, stress-free and oddly enough sometimes fun. Dr. Russell has been the family dentist since I was 10 years old, I’m 34 now. I moved away for several years and just returned home for the first time in 10 years. I tried my hand at ‘chain’ dentist firms since I moved around quite a bit and couldn’t commit to one. I was so pleased with the level of care I received back at Dr. Russell’s practice, it is night and day difference. This is a practice you can trust. The dental techs/assistants are second to none, it was that way in 1999 and is still the case in 2024. If you are looking for YOUR dentist to keep for life, this is the practice you are looking for.

I have been going here for years. You almost always get in on time. Dr. Russell considers the best way to treat a problem and also the cost involved to come up with a great solution. I never really hurts, and I have gotten over my dread of going to the dentist!

We recently switched to go here and my daughter has only seen a pediatric dentist her entire 10 years of life. Fallon cleaned her teeth and my daughter said she liked this dentist SO much more! We had a great experience and I liked how even though Tomball is growing, Dr. Russell still made it feel very personable and took the time to introduce himself and make sure we were taken good care of. First visit to Russell Family Dentistry today and Fallon was my Dental Hygienists. She was awesome prepared me for each step, was gentle with still getting the job done and it was quick. She had a lot of work to do too! My appointment was on time if not 5 minutes early and the cleaning took exactly an hour like they told me when booking the appointment.

Had a broken tooth and got the root pulled and a tooth added to my partial in about and hour. Staff was very friendly an expert.

As usual my appointment required so little wait time. The office staff offers a sincere greeting when you arrive and always knows your name - quite amazing in this day and age. Theresa adjusted my night guard to perfection. How great is that and did a fantastic job of cleaning my teeth and inspecting all areas which could be of concern. Dr. Russell took his time to adjust several areas where my teeth have shifted and not only is the fit more comfortable, but he evened out a glitch or two to make my teeth both more even and attractive. If you are reading this comment, do consider this practice. You will never find a more organized and professional team. At age 81, I have been cared for by numerous dental practices, but none of the others comes even close to matching the care, experience, and professionalism of this office.

Went to Russell Family dentistry for a yearly teeth cleaning. Turns out my crown needed to be replaced and was in bad shape. Dr Russell did an amazing job removing and replacing the crown. He used a state of the art milling machine that created a new crown that matched perfectly with my bite. His attention to detail was great. He has a great team as well. Definitely recommend if you need a dentist.

I literally experienced no pain as he worked on my 4 front teeth. He was gentle and works with precision. I left their office with my smile back in tact and with ALL of the work completed! He also was kind enough to do a bit of cosmetic work as well! The entire staff was kind and caring and truly attentive to me as well. I am so thankful to all of them. Arrived for appointment on time.and was promptly ushered in. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Dr who reviewed my X-rays and examined my mouth after cleaning was friendly. Everything went smoothly

Visit was fine. Way too many emails and texts asking for feedback.

WOW is all I can say. Had an implant crown break off, part of the metal from the tooth broke off in the implant. Dr. Russell worked trying several different ideas. He got the piece of metal out of my implant thank goodness. Great dentist. Would highly recommend.

While I would enjoy a little more time in the waiting room to look at the collection of Texas and other historical publications, I always appreciate the Russell team’s efficient and effective care. We started with this office seven years ago at the suggestion of a neighbor with teenagers. Dr. Russell had been their family dentist for years and the boys were always willing for a visit and that was enough for me. Later I appreciated his informed answer to a procedure I was interested in that could have cost several hundred dollars. He readily explained why that was not right for me and willingly let a possible opportunity go. The staff is always friendly and explain what needs to be explained And they answer the phone for questions or appointments. I’m glad to be able to take advantage of their availability and location. They are absolutely amazing! They handled my anxiety with care, so that I could have a pleasant visit. They did my root canal/crown without any issues. I was more amazed how how fast he got BOTH of my wisdom teeth out without any issues. Less than 30 min for both wisdom teeth! Absolutely amazing! I would recommend to everyone!

With all the Covid-19 issues My appointment today went very well with texting the office upon my arrival, temperature check, and cleaning. My appointment was at 1:00 and I went in on time as scheduled. Dr. Russell’s employees are very well trained in the Covid-19 protocols. Absolutely loved my visit at Russell Family Dentistry. I made my appointment after seeing so many positive reviews. I was seeking a second opinion after another dentist (corporate office) had changed providers for the 3rd time, and was pushing a lot of services I felt were not needed. Sure enough Dr. Russell confirmed that I only needed a single filling instead of the $2000 plan of care the other provider had prepared. The office staff was super friendly. Very nice family feel. I will be going back to Dr. Russell for the foreseeable future.

The staff was all very friendly and even got me a same day appointment when I called. The behind the counter details are very efficient and fast. Not to mention Doctor russel was very aware of his job and how things are to be done, even spotting a bad fill from a different dentist. Will be retiring for sure!

As someone who is terrified of the dentist, Dr. Russell and Megan by far exceeded all expectations. The team was professional, compassionate, and well educated. It was my first visit with actual dental work done and I can confidently say, I would recommend this office over and over again!

The anesthetic for my cleaning induced some minor coughing during the procedure. The anesthetic wore off very quickly and by the next morning the coughing and resulting, but negligible, soreness had stopped. The procedure was very professionally done.

I went in for a fitting of a upper partial for a second time and there was a small adjustment. It was sent back to the company for final polishing. This is a second pair of partials because the first pair had a lot of flaws and needed major adjustments. Dr. Russell is very conscientious and thorough and he wanted to make sure that the partial fits properly and causes no discomfort.

We always feel at home at Dr. Russell's office. He's been our dentist ever since he came to Tomball. He's great and so is his staff. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

I have been waiting until my dental work was done so I can leave an honest review from start to finish. Im 74 years old and had really bad teeth so Dr Russell did a complete exam of every tooth, he had to pull several and he saved several to crown and made two clip in bridges. I never felt a shot or had any pain and he and his assistant were talking me through each step of the way and everyone in his office was very nice. So I can honestly say that I would recommend him to my best friend. Thank you for a job WELL done Dr Russell and staff.

This was the best experience I've ever had visiting a Dentist's office for an annual exam. Brooklyn (the dental hygienist) explained everything she was doing and did an excellent job. After moving to Texas I went for my routine cleaning and again just didn’t have a great experience until finally finding Dr Russel and his awesome staff. Gentle, down to earth yet highly skilled. $658 for 2 people to get a cleaning? No insurance stinks, but never imagined 20 minutes of someone brushing and flossing their teeth would cost that much.

This was my first cleaning since Covid. Dr Russell has provided his staff with all the proper equipment to keep them staff. New procedures have been instituted to minimize exposure to the patient. Recently I had to go in for a cleaning as well as impressions and a few fillings. The waiting room as well as the rooms I visited were very nice and clean, and I say nice because it definitely doesn’t look like some old boring doctors office! The staff as well as the doctor were very nice and did an outstanding job to help the fight against COVID-19. As far as the work being performed it really wasn’t stressful at all because Dr. Russell did a great job of explaining what was going and making sure that my bite was spot on before leaving his office. Overall I am very pleased with my experience and thankful I was recommended his office!
